Sim Gaming Expo 2026 took place from 18 to 20 September at the Schaumburg Renaissance Convention Center near Chicago. MOZA Racing used the event to put its wider simulation range in front of visitors through six hands-on simulator setups. The planned experiences covered sim racing, flight simulation, trucking, farming and motion simulation, bringing several types of virtual driving and control into one show-floor presence.

The breadth of the display matters because MOZA’s 2026 releases extend well beyond a conventional steering wheel and wheel base. Its event brief placed two products at the centre of the presentation: the Mustang GTD Sim-Racing Steering Wheel, officially launched on 17 September, and the HMA150 Motion System. The booth also brought together products introduced earlier in the year so attendees could see and try them as parts of a broader simulation ecosystem.

The Mustang GTD Sim-Racing Steering Wheel takes its visual cue from Ford’s high-performance Mustang GTD. MOZA describes it as combining the car’s distinctive styling with a race-focused control layout for competitive sim racing. That makes it a specific option for drivers who want a GT-inspired control point in their virtual cockpit, rather than a generic round wheel.

The timing put the wheel’s official launch immediately ahead of the expo. MOZA’s plan was to give visitors the opportunity to handle and use it at the show, an important distinction from seeing product photographs alone. The supplied event material does not specify a price, compatibility list or technical dimensions for this wheel, so those details should be checked against the final product listing before a purchase decision.

Motion feedback beyond the steering column

MOZA’s other headline demonstration was the HMA150 Motion System. Instead of restricting feedback to a steering wheel, a motion platform moves the simulator itself. The four-actuator HMA150 is intended to translate driving data into physical movement, including the sensations associated with acceleration, braking, cornering and variations in the track surface.

Each of its four actuators offers 150 mm of travel, according to MOZA’s expo brief. The same brief cites a response rate of up to 150 Hz and identifies MOZA Motion Manager as the software that uses real-time game telemetry to drive the system. These figures describe the announced hardware and control approach; the particular effect a player feels will depend on the game, configuration and rig. Live demonstrations at the expo were designed to let visitors judge the difference that platform motion makes alongside other forms of feedback.

The HMA150 also helps explain MOZA’s wider direction. A wheel communicates forces through the hands, while pedals, controls and a moving cockpit each contribute a different part of the simulation. Putting the hardware into a working setup allows a visitor to assess that combination rather than judging each component in isolation.

Six setups across five simulation areas

MOZA’s show plan called for six simulator setups spanning racing, flight, trucking, farming and motion. Its 2026 product display included the R16 Ultra and R5 Pro, alongside the AY90, MFY Pro, Farming Control System and other hardware from its line-up. The brief does not assign every named product to a specific station, so the six setups should not be treated as a one-product-per-station list.

The variety gave the event a useful contrast. Racing hardware focuses on the controls and feedback of a performance car; flight simulation requires a different set of inputs; trucking and farming involve their own control patterns. MOZA presented these as connected parts of its simulation range. Visitors could explore the main MOZA display at booth 515, while selected partner booths also featured MOZA hardware: Newegg at booth 001, DOF Reality at booth 315, PIMAX at booth 324 and SIMGASM B.V. at booth 615, according to the event brief.
