    Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a compilation of FPS games in the Halo series, was published by Xbox Game Studios. The game series was developed by 343 Industries in partnership with Splash Damage, Saber Interactive, Ruffian Games, and Bungie. The games have vehicular combat that occurs from a third-person perspective. You can play all four campaign modes alone or cooperatively via Xbox Live or split-screen. Each campaign has a total of four difficulty levels as well as access to gameplay modifiers called Skulls. All games now hit a resolution of 4k with 60 frames per second gameplay on Xbox One.

    Fortnite

    blank

Released in 2017, Fortnite was developed by Epic Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Epic Games. It’s available in three distinct game mode versions, with all sharing the same game engine and gameplay. Fortnite Battle Royale is a battle royale video game where up to 100 players have to fight until the last person is left. Fortnite: Save the World, on the other hand, is a co-op hybrid-tower defense-shooter-survival video game in which up to four players team up to fight off creatures and defend objects using traps and fortifications they have to build. Lastly, Fortnite Creative is a sandbox video game in which players have the freedom to create battle arenas and worlds.

    Prey

    blank

Published by Bethesda Softworks and developed by Arkane Studios, Prey is an FPS video game with stealth and role-playing elements. In the game, players control Morgan Yu, a human exploring the space station Talos I that has lots of species of hostile aliens called the Typhon. You must collect weapons and resources and use them aboard the space station to fight off and defeat the hostile aliens. Prey has multiple endings, which fall into three main narrative structures that depend on how the player interacts with the surviving humans and the station.

    Doom Eternal

    blank

This first-person shooter game was developed by Software. The publisher of Doom Eternal is Bethesda Softworks. It’s the sequel to the 2016 FPS game Doom and the fifth installment in the Doom series. Set after the events that took place in Doom, the game’s story follows the Doomguy again. His mission is to end Hell’s destruction of Earth and prevent the alien Maykr’s plans of exterminating humanity. The game has both a single-player campaign and a multiplayer mode called Battlemode. In Battlemode, you can play as a demon or the Doom Slayer. Players can also join single-player campaigns to fight each other.

    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

    blank

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare takes place in a modern and realistic setting. The game’s single-player campaign mainly focuses on realism, and it features tactically-based moral choices; the player is evaluated before they are assigned a score when the level comes to an end. Its multiplayer has a more tactical gameplay style than its predecessors: It focuses on door breaching, map exploration, and has a Hardcore “Realism” mode that eliminates the heads-up display.

    Overwatch

    blank

Set in the mid-2070s, Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer FPS game developed and published by the American company Blizzard Entertainment. The game assigns players into two teams made of six people. Each player can select from a large roster of heroes, each having unique abilities. The game takes place in the future after the resolution of the Omnic Crisis. Teams have to work together to accomplish map-specific objectives, and they must do this within a limited period.

    Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

    blank

Played from a first-person perspective, you have to battle enemies throughout the levels and progress through the story. It utilizes a health system whereby your health is divided into different sections that regenerate. If you lose an entire section, you’ll need to use a health pack to replace the missing health. You’ll use explosives, firearms, and melee attacks to fight enemies.

    Battlefield V

    blank

Battlefield V was developed by a Swedish company called EA DICE. The publisher of this FPS video game is Electronic Arts. It’s the 16th game in the Battlefield series. Gears 5

    blank

Played from a third-person perspective, Gears 5 was developed by Coalition. This shooter game was published by Xbox Game Studios, and it’s the sixth installment in the Gears of War series. The game takes place several months after the events that occurred in Gears of War 4. The player takes the role of Kait Diaz, an Outsider and a descendant of the Queen of the Locust Horde – Myrrah. You should uncover the Locust’s origin and the truth behind Myrrah’s family history.

    Far Cry 5

    blank
