Ah, Britain. Land of tea, the King, and other associated stereotypes.

Of course, modern Britain is just as cosmopolitan and diverse as anywhere else in the world. Anything the developed world can do, Britain can do as well, and that includes streaming on Twitch.

The UK is a nation of gamers, just as the USA and other countries are. It might be a small island nation off the coast of mainland Europe, but don’t count it out when it comes to Twitch.

Yes, many of the most interesting and content-rich streamers on Twitch actually hail from this sceptered isle. The USA and Europe may have monopolies when it comes to the public imagination, but don’t count out UK streamers just yet.

From Overwatch to League of Legends and everything in between, gamers hungry for a British perspective have plenty of places to go. Here are the best British streamers you can check out on Twitch right now.

    Table of Contents
    1. HuzzyGames
    2. Tommyinnit
    3. Leah
    4. Tubbo
    5. Lionheartx10
    6. benjyfishy
    7. Valkia
    8. Shaun_vids
    9. WilburSoot
    10. Sweet Anita
    11. Fremily
    12. Wolfabelle
    13. SovietWomble

    HuzzyGames

    • Signature Games: League of Legends
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: HuzzyGames is known for his detailed commentary and educational content on League of Legends.
    blank

Let’s start off with an old favourite. A lot of people aren’t too familiar with Huzzy any more, which is a shame because he’s one of the most underrated content creators on Twitch.

Huzzy is one of the few content creators around who still primarily dedicates his channel to League of Legends, which is growing rarer and rarer these days as the player base for the game moves on to other flavours of the month.

However, if you’re still playing League – as tons of players are – then Huzzy’s content is pretty much essential. He’s an easygoing, laid-back Brit who isn’t afraid to call out bad play or toxic behaviour.

Usually, that toxic behaviour isn’t coming from him, though, and it’s refreshing to see someone play League of Legends without succumbing to the kind of toxicity you might expect from the game’s fans.

Huzzy’s streaming schedule is incredibly regular, so if you tune into Twitch during the early afternoon, you’re almost certain to see him streaming to his followers. Make sure to check his social media for when he’s streaming, though!

    Tommyinnit

    • Approximate Net Worth in GBP: £3.16 million
    • Signature Games: Fortnite, Minecraft
    • Began Streaming: Around 2018
    • Random Fact: Tommyinnit is one of the fastest-growing Twitch streamers and YouTubers, known for his high-energy Minecraft content.
    blank

As one of the most beloved British Twitch streamers of all time, you probably won’t be surprised by tommyinnit’s presence on this list, and you should definitely check him out if you like gaming-related content.

That’s not to say he’s a one-trick pony, of course; you’re just as likely to see him chatting about anything that crosses his mind as you are to see him playing games like Fortnite, Minecraft, and lots of other titles.

His irreverent, very British sense of humour gives him an endearing quality that’s hard to deny, and he manages to keep the energy levels up during his stream as well, something that many streamers find it hard to do.

You can usually catch Tommy streaming in the early evening, so his streams are perfect for when you’ve just had some food and you’re ready to settle down with a cup of tea and enjoy the company of some parasocial relationships for a while.

In a tongue-in-cheek sense, he describes himself on his Twitch channel as an “incredibly influential gamer”, but honestly, as much as he’s being his usual cheeky self, it’s hard to disagree with him on that point.

    Leah

    • Signature Games: Frog Detective, Fall Guys
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Leahviathan is also known for her involvement in charity work and has participated in several charity streams.
    blank

Leah – or, to give her her full name, Leah Alexandra, also going by Leahviathan – is one of the UK’s most well-liked streamers, and we don’t think she gets anywhere near enough views (despite her huge popularity!).

At time of writing, Leah’s most recent streams include the madcap multiplayer horror game Lethal Company, as well as streams for casual and fun games like Frog Detective and Fall Guys.

Lest you think those are the only strings to Leah’s bow, though, think again; she’s also streamed Riot’s hardcore FPS Valorant, as well as the narrative-focused horror adventure game The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me.

You can also find her streaming herself doing things like baking around the house, keeping up with the BBC’s Children in Need programme, and checking out awards shortlists to give her opinions on them.

Leah’s streaming schedule isn’t quite as regular as some of her fellow streamers might be, but she’s indefatigable when streaming, endlessly likeable, and a great gamer to boot, so check her out if you want to see a real pro at work.

She usually streams somewhere around mid-afternoon to early evening.

    Tubbo

    • Approximate Net Worth in GBP: £1.58 million
    • Signature Games: Fortnite, Valorant
    • Began Streaming: Around 2018
    • Random Fact: Tubbo is also a musician and has released music, showcasing his creative talents beyond gaming.
    blank

If you’re a Minecraft fan, then you probably know Tubbo best for streaming this game, and there’s a good reason for that; many of his most recent streams have, indeed, focused on Mojang’s blocky sandbox hit.

However, Tubbo isn’t just a one-trick pony. He also streams games like Fortnite and Valorant, and he’s often to be found just shooting the breeze about whatever’s going on in his life and the world around him.

He’s a member of the Misfits Gaming collective, so you might have seen him around as part of that initiative as well. Hey, you’re not a pro streamer these days if you don’t have a squad behind you, right?

Like many Twitch streamers, Tubbo is a friendly and energetic character, and he tries to foster a sense of positivity and inclusivity in his streams as well, so nobody should feel left behind.

He may not be the most mature or academic streamer in the world, but if what you want is an infectious enthusiasm and lust for life from your streamers, then Tubbo is definitely someone you’re going to want to tune in for.

    Lionheartx10

    • Approximate Net Worth in GBP: £1.19 million
    • Signature Games: Stronghold: Definitive Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Crusader Kings III
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Lionheartx10 has a degree in medieval history, which often influences his choice in strategy and history-themed games.
    blank

It’s fair to say that Lionheartx10 is the thinking person’s Twitch streamer. He’s often to be found playing more in-depth and cerebral games rather than the usual streaming fare (which isn’t to be sniffed at either!).

At time of writing, Lionheartx10’s most recent streams include Stronghold: Definitive Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Crusader Kings III, which should give you an idea of what you’re dealing with.

He’s a gentle, knowledgeable streamer with a positive attitude towards both his community and the games he’s streaming, and while they may not all be hits, he approaches all of them with an open mind.

Lionheartx10 also happens to have a degree in mediaeval history, which is likely why he takes such an interest in strategy gaming and historical content; it’s his subject of expertise, after all!

If you want a healthy dose of learning with your stream, then Lionheartx10 is definitely the content creator to tune into. He doesn’t bring the same level of irrepressible volume and energy that some streamers do, but that just makes his content perfect for relaxing after a long day, and that’s something many of us need more than day-glo loudness.

    benjyfishy

    • Signature Games: Fortnite, Valorant
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Benjyfishy is one of the youngest professional Fortnite players and has competed in the Fortnite World Cup.
    blank

Benjyfishy’s real name is Benjamin Fish, which goes a long way towards explaining where he got his username from. Hey, use your strengths, right? We’re not going to criticise him for putting his best foot forward.

You might know Fish’s name from the competitive Fortnite events in which he’s taken part, and if you do, then you’ll know he’s a seriously skilled Fortnite player who takes his time playing the game very seriously indeed.

Of course, Fish still streams himself playing Fortnite on a regular basis, but he’s also branched out into Riot’s competitive shooter Valorant, so if you prefer that game, you’ve still got a reason to check out benjyfishy.

In fact, Fish plays Valorant professionally for Team Heretics, so you know he’s got the knowledge to back up his presence as a popular UK streamer that many gamers love and respect.

If you want serious tips on how to improve your Fortnite and Valorant gameplay, then Fish is the streamer you want to watch. His content is geared towards serious play a lot of the time.

However, he also teams up with other creators from time to time to showcase innovative creative mode efforts, and he’s got a sense of humour too, so it’s not all coaching.

    Valkia

    • Signature Games: Overwatch 2
    • Began Streaming: Around 2016
    • Random Fact: Valkia is known for his expertise with the character Pharah in Overwatch, often creating tutorials and guides.
    blank

At time of writing, it’s been quite a while since Valkia streamed on Twitch or created content, although he’s still very much active in the social media space.

These days, Valkia seemingly spends his time speaking at gaming-related events and discussing how brands should be working with content creators, so perhaps he’s moving more towards the educational sphere.

It’s a shame, though, because when Valkia streams, nothing beats the sense of community and camaraderie that accompanies his streams and his videos.

His last stream, in November 2022 (again, at time of writing – this may have changed by the time you read this), focused on Overwatch 2 and revolved around teaching players how to use Pharah, which is Valkia’s main.

It’s clear that Valkia is immensely skilled at the games he plays, and while he focuses largely on Overwatch 2, he also plays games like Call of Duty: Warzone, making him an FPS pro in several disciplines.

As if that weren’t enough, Valkia is also a genuinely lovely guy; he clearly adores and respects his community immensely and even celebrates them on a regular basis. Valkia will cheer you up through even the most difficult day if you do manage to catch one of his streams.

    Shaun_vids

    • Signature Games: Stellaris, PUBG: Battlegrounds, Stardew Valley
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Shaun_vids combines gaming content with discussions on politics and current events, providing a unique blend of entertainment and education.
    blank

If you’re familiar with Shaun’s content on YouTube, you probably know him as a content creator who focuses mainly on politics and current events, as well as examining media through those lenses.

With that in mind, then, it might surprise you to learn that Shaun is also a Twitch streamer, and he’s one of the most laid-back and genuine streamers you’re likely to find as well.

He streams as shaun_vids, and while he doesn’t stream every day, you’re likely to find him firing up the stream in the late afternoon and early evening, where he’ll be playing a variety of games.

At time of writing, the last few games Shaun has streamed include Stellaris, PUBG: Battlegrounds, and Stardew Valley, so you’re getting a diverse slate of titles if you tune into Shaun’s streams.

While he plays, Shaun will also chat to his followers and to stream chat participants, giving the impression of a relaxed friend who’s ready to expound on the issues of the world and what they could mean in the grander scheme of things.

Shaun is amusing without being overly energetic, too, so he’s the perfect antidote to the typical Twitch streamer.

    WilburSoot

    • Signature Games: Minecraft
    • Began Streaming: Around 2017
    • Random Fact: WilburSoot is also a musician and has released several songs, some of which are related to the games he plays.
    blank

Much like many Twitch streamers from what is arguably the golden age of streaming, WilburSoot’s streams are too few and far between these days, with the streamer seemingly focusing on other avenues.

However, when he does find the time to stream – which still happens from time to time, so do make sure to keep an eye on his streaming schedule – he’s great fun to be around.

Recently, WilburSoot’s streaming focal points have been the ever-popular Minecraft, as well as just kicking back and chatting with his followers and those who tune into his Twitch chat.

He can generally be found streaming during the late evening and the early hours of the night, so you might need to set aside a little time to make sure you’re tuning into his content at the right moment.

If you do, though, you’ll find a genial and likeable streamer who’s sharp and funny, making him a great antidote to streamers whose sense of humour doesn’t feel particularly clever.

WilburSoot’s schedule might not be the fullest in the land of Twitch, but it’s worth making the time to tune in when he does grace the airwaves.

    Sweet Anita

    • Signature Games: Apex Legends, Islands of Insight, Overwatch 2
    • Began Streaming: Around 2018
    • Random Fact: Sweet Anita has Tourette’s syndrome and uses her platform to raise awareness and dispel myths about the condition. She also has a pet rabbit, which often roams on stream.
    blank

English streamer Sweet Anita was born in East Anglia, although she appears to have grown up in the southwestern part of the country.

As reported by The Daily Dot at the time, Sweet Anita was diagnosed with Tourette’s syndrome when she was 24 years old, and her condition causes her to swear and use unpleasant words unintentionally.

Despite this, she still enjoys a wholesome and successful streaming career, with thousands of people tuning into her streams on a regular basis to see her chatting and playing games.

Depending on when you manage to catch Sweet Anita, she could be playing games like Apex Legends and the puzzle game Islands of Insight, enjoying other popular games like Overwatch 2, or just chatting to you about her life (or yours!).

The atmosphere that is fostered during one of Sweet Anita’s streams is inclusive and understanding; even if her condition does occasionally cause her to say regrettable things, her audience understands this, and she’s open and candid about it too.

Of course, this does also mean Anita’s content is not for younger audiences, so make sure there aren’t any kids in the room when you tune in.

    Fremily

    • Signature Games: Fortnite, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, RimWorld, Dying Light 2
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Fremily is a husband-wife duo, known for their collaborative streams and interaction with their community.
    blank

If the UK Twitch community could be said to have parents, then Fremily are probably the best candidates for that title. They’re practically UK streaming royalty at this point!

This husband-wife duo go way, way back with the service and have been streaming for a very long time indeed. They’re great fun, bouncing off each other and their fanbase in an endearing and compelling way.

Their most recent streams include Fortnite and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, as well as the colony sim RimWorld and the zombie open-world parkour game Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

You’ll generally find a mixture of games that are more popular and current on Fremily’s channel, but you might also tune in to find them enjoying something like DayZ.

Their content is likeable and easygoing, and they’re filled with an energy that’s admirable, especially given the fact that they’ve been streaming for a good while now – since some of the earliest days of Twitch, in fact!

You should definitely check out Fremily’s content if you want to feel all warm and fuzzy inside, or if you’re looking for streamers you can watch with your partner.

    View Twitch Profile

    Wolfabelle

    • Signature Games: Grand Theft Auto V, Fortnite, Party Animals
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Wolfabelle has been open about her experiences with stalking and harassment, advocating for safer online spaces.
    blank

If you like a mixture of all kinds of content – chatting, gaming, and everything else in between – then you should definitely check out Wolfabelle’s Twitch channel.

She’s a regular streamer who can often be found playing the latest and greatest games, as well as reacting to other people’s videos on stream and chatting to her followers.

Some of the games Wolfabelle has played on stream recently include Grand Theft Auto V, Fortnite, and Party Animals, as well as Lethal Company, which is gaining popularity rapidly at time of writing.

Unfortunately, it’s not all sunshine and rainbows for some of your favourite Twitch streamers. Sometimes, people in this position have to deal with some truly shocking and disgusting behaviour from their so-called fans.

So it was with Wolfabelle, who memorably revealed in late 2022 that she had been the victim of stalking. Thankfully, she seems unharmed, which is remarkable given how painful an experience like that can be.

If you want to support Wolfabelle and show her solidarity, then check out her stream and let her know that her fans are there for her!

    SovietWomble

    • Signature Games: RimWorld, Baldur’s Gate 3, Divinity: Original Sin 2
    • Began Streaming: Around 2013
    • Random Fact: SovietWomble is well-known for his “Random Bullshittery” series on YouTube, featuring humorous moments from his gaming sessions.
    blank

Despite his rather un-British (but admittedly rather amusing) name, SovietWomble is a UK-based streamer who mainly specialises in strategy gaming and role-playing titles.

He does play a diverse range of games, though, including strategy classic RimWorld, which is a popular choice for the thinking person’s gaming streamer.

He’s also known for playing RPGs like Larian’s Baldur’s Gate 3 and Divinity: Original Sin 2, the former of which is one of the most popular and well-regarded games in the world right now.

However, lest you think SovietWomble only plays RPGs and strategy games, you’ve got another think coming; he also plays Left 4 Dead 2, Deep Rock Galactic, and other multiplayer shooters, teaming up with other skilled players as he does so.

Like Valkia, SovietWomble is a friendly and upstanding chap. He’s the kind of person who gives British streamers a good name, so check him out if you like the idea of spending some time in the company of a jovial fellow who won’t patronise you.

He streams pretty regularly, and he can usually be found online either late in the morning or early in the evening.

    View Twitch Profile

    Philza

    • Signature Games: Minecraft
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Philza is renowned for his Minecraft Hardcore mode gameplay, where he once had a five-year-long hardcore game before dying to a baby zombie.
    blank

Philza, more commonly known as Phil, has a pretty amusing Twitch bio that runs thus: “Hi I’m Phil, I died to a baby zombie after 5 years of Minecraft Hardcore now I do this full time”.

That should give you some idea of what you can expect from Philza’s channel; he focuses heavily on Minecraft, of course, given that his content has historically revolved around that game’s Hardcore mode.

In fact, it’s fair to say that Philza is pretty much exclusively a Minecraft Twitch streamer, but he gets tons of viewers for his content, which can also be pretty educational if you want to learn how to play Minecraft well (and who wouldn’t?).

If you’re in the mood for a streamer who’s simultaneously energetic and soothing thanks to his methodical approach to a game many don’t put much thought into, Philza is very much the streamer for you.

Bear in mind that when we say this is a Minecraft-exclusive channel, we really mean it; this isn’t the channel for you if you like more broad and well-rounded streamers.

If you’re in the market for a specialist, though, it’s hard to imagine a better streamer than Philza.

    view twitch profile

    Sacriel

    • Signature Games: Various, including strategy and multiplayer games
    • Began Streaming: 2012
    • Random Fact: Sacriel is part of a streaming group known as “The ZF Clan” and is recognized for his tactical and strategic gameplay.
    blank

Sometimes, when you’re watching a gaming stream, you want nothing more than to sit forward with your pad and pencil and watch how it’s done. When that happens, you call in on Sacriel’s channel.

Sacriel’s been streaming since 2012, and if the game requires a great deal of skill to play it, you can bet Sacriel’s mastered it. Whether that’s multiplayer games like Lethal Company or single-player adventures like Starfield, it’s all on Sacriel’s calling card.

Despite his skill, he’s never condescending; he’s always interested in how to improve his (and your!) gaming skills, but he’s friendly and approachable while also being didactic. Sacriel’s is a truly valuable British channel.

You can often find Sacriel streaming in the late afternoon, and his streams go on for quite some time, so even if you can’t tune in straight away, you’ll usually find him streaming when you do set aside the time to check him out.

He’s also known for playing strategy games; Sacriel’s latest slate includes the aforementioned games, but also the harrowing war odyssey Last Train Home and the sandy RTS Dune: Spice Wars.

That’s a good indication of how versatile and expansive Sacriel’s tastes are.

    JackManifoldTV

    • Signature Games: Minecraft, Five Nights at Freddy’s
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: JackManifoldTV gained popularity throug
    blank

We bet you’ll never guess what JackManifoldTV’s real name is! Jokes aside, Manifold has been streaming for a good while now, and he’s got a reliable slate of varied and interesting titles built up.

His most recent streams include the horror classic Five Nights at Freddy’s, as well as the found-footage horror experience Don’t Scream and, of course, Fortnite (did you ever doubt it?).

JackManifoldTV is also known for streaming Minecraft and for collaborating with some of its most innovative creators, making him a great accompaniment to a streamer like Philza.

He’s also known for his cheeky sense of humour and his permeating sense of Britishness, so if you’re looking for a streamer who arguably encapsulates the best that British streaming has to offer, Manifold is your guy.

You can often catch him on Just Chatting streams where he talks to his audience about what’s happening in his life, tells stories, and talks about what’s next for his channel and content.

The word “genuine” can be a difficult one to apply to streamers due to the parasocial effect, but if there is such a thing as a genuine streamer, Manifold arguably fits the description.

    Josh Strife Hayes

    • Signature Games: Various, including MMORPGs and indie games
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Josh Strife Hayes is known for his detailed critiques and analyses of MMORPGs, particularly focusing on their game design and monetization strategies.
    blank

Many will know Josh Strife Hayes from his excellent Diablo Immortal video, in which he breaks down what he sees as the predatory monetary practices of Blizzard’s mobile hack-and-slash RPG.

However, Josh is also a streamer, and his content is excellent, covering games like Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realms of Ruin alongside fascinating indie horror experiments like Stigmatized Property.

As he’s known for being an MMORPG player, Josh will also stream MMOs from time to time; he’s particularly fond of the Diablo-esque Path of Exile, which makes sense given his opinions about where Diablo itself is at right now.

Josh has also been known to stream games like Old School RuneScape, which, again, makes sense given his focus on MMORPGs both past and present.

If you’ve seen Josh’s content on YouTube, you’ll know he’s an eloquent, suave man who routinely drinks tea from some pretty impressive mugs and whose insight on games is not to be missed.

To put it simply, Josh’s streams are well worth tuning in for, even if they’re not as regular as you might like. He generally streams towards the end of the day.

    Miniminter

    • Signature Games: Fortnite, EA Sports FC 24
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: Miniminter is a member of the Sidemen, a British YouTube group known for their gaming, comedy, and entertainment videos.
    blank

Miniminter is a member of popular content creation group the Sidemen, which also includes notorious streamer KSI. If you’ve heard of him before but never checked out his content, that’s probably why.

He streams all kinds of games, including Fortnite, EA Sports FC 24, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, so his channel is very much dedicated to the latest and greatest games in the popular sphere.

However, you’re just as likely to catch him simply chatting to his audience about whatever crosses his mind, using his easy charm to communicate his opinions about all kinds of topics.

Describing himself rather amusingly as a “Professional Simon”, Miniminter creates funny content that will appeal to you if you’re looking for that parasocial hit that streaming often brings.

He’s a little slicker and more professional than many streamers of his ilk, but that just means his streams have an appeal that many streamers can’t quite reach.

Although Miniminter’s streams generally take place during the early evening, you’re just as likely to find him streaming in the morning or even in the early afternoon, so make sure that you keep an eye on his socials so that you know when he’s streaming.

    ShivFPS

    • Signature Games: Apex Legends
    • Began Streaming: Specific start date not provided
    • Random Fact: ShivFPS is particularly known for his high-level Apex Legends gameplay and is a prominent figure in its competitive scene.
    blank

ShivFPS, whose real name is Shivam Patel (hence Shiv), creates Apex Legends-focused content for the Enthusiast Gaming brand Luminosity. He mainly streams Apex on Twitch as well.

In fact, a quick glance over ShivFPS’ most recent streams will tell you that he exclusively streams Apex Legends, although he has also dabbled in the mobile tactical FPS Arena Breakout, which takes its cues from Battlestate’s Escape from Tarkov.

Since Shiv is an expert in a single game, you’ll get some solid tips on how to up your own Apex skills if you watch his streams. He’s a focused, dedicated gamer and it shows when he’s live.

While you won’t get the kind of casual, chillout-focused content that many other streamers might create, ShivFPS knows what his audience is and he knows what they want from him.

As such, if you’re looking for genuine professional-level Apex Legends play – either because you want to improve your own game or just because you love to watch the game being played at that level – then Shiv is your man.

Last but certainly not least, Zerkaa is another member of the Sidemen collective alongside Miniminter, so you know roughly what to expect from his content.

By far his most-streamed game is Grand Theft Auto V; he mainly plays the online component of the game, as most streamers do when it comes to GTA, so if you like to see open-world crime shenanigans, Zerkaa is the streamer for you.

However, it’s not all Grand Theft Auto-focused when it comes to Zerkaa. You might also see him streaming the fighting game Brawlhalla, for instance, and he’s also been known to play games like Fortnite and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Zerkaa is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to streaming, but his endearing personality and consistent gaming skills make him a great streamer to watch if you’re looking for a charismatic and compelling streamer from the UK.

That generally goes for the whole Sidemen collective; while they’ve certainly had their controversies, they’re fun streamers to check out if you’re looking for a way to kill a few hours.
