This article is for all of the gamers out there. Whether you own a gaming computer, Xbox or PlayStation you will find a gadget that you need to maximize your gaming experience. So, let’s get started with my list of gadgets that you should think about purchasing.

    Table of Contents
    1. Xbox One Play and Charge Kit
    2. Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One
    3. Xbox One Chatpad
    4. PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headset
    5. PlayStation VR
    6. Samsung M9T 2TB hard drive
    7. Razer Naga Hex V2
    8. Thrustmaster VG T150 Racing Wheel
    9. Logitech G930 Gaming Headset
    10. Optoma PT105 Gaming LED Projector

Xbox One Play and Charge Kitblank

This one is a no brainer as you know the hassle of buying a ton of batteries just for your controller. And then they invariably go away at the toughest of times, like in the center of an intense shootout on Battlefield 1. And so, you scramble to find that pack of batteries you bought, insert them into the controller, look at the screen, and drop dead. You died, lost the mic connection with your team, and are about to explode with rage. Well the Xbox One play and charge kit will relieve that worry. You can play while charging it or just plug it in overnight. It only takes around four hours to fully charge the battery which lasts for a whopping 30 hours! Best part is that it is pretty cheap and should be able to be purchased for less than $30.

Turtle Beach Ear Force XO Oneblank

I think it was a good idea that Microsoft included a headset with the purchase of a new Xbox One but I found that it was not very good quality. I sometimes couldn’t communicate properly with my friends and we would always hear each other’s TV’s. With the Turtle Beach Ear Force XO One you won’t have any problems. It is pretty cheap compared to other Turtle Beach headsets at $50 but still has the same quality. Sound is crisp and clear and you won’t be constantly struggling to understand your teammates.

    Xbox One Chatpadblank

    blankblank

Anyone who has tried to type something into YouTube or the game store knows how long and annoying the process is. It’s even worse when trying to chat with friends. The Xbox One Chatpad makes life so much easier. It simply plugs into the bottom of the controller and then you can type away on a mini keyboard. You can still plug your headset into the bottom of the keyboard. The best part is that it doesn’t feel clunky at all. It fits perfectly snug in between the two ends of the controller.

    PlayStation Platinum Wireless Headsetblank

    blankblank

Although a little pricey, this is a great headset for the PS4. The PlayStation Platinum Wireless headset offers virtual 7.1 surround sound and customizable audio settings. There’s also a voice chat volume mixer that sits next to the volume control. This makes it very easy when trying to balance in-game audio and voice chat volume on-the-fly. The feature becomes incredibly convenient when your team decides to speak too softly or if you need to focus on a game’s audio cues. The mic is good as well and captures clear audio, but it doesn’t cancel outside noise as well.

    PlayStation VRblank

    blankblank

Everyone wants to experience virtual reality, simply because it’s amazing. Normally you have to use an expensive PC gaming setup, but now it is also available on the PS4. Of course, it’s not as crisp and clear, but it’s the first model. And it’s surprisingly accurate given the fact it uses only the PlayStation software and a single camera. The system is also very affordable and PlayStation is releasing a ton of games with VR capability.

    Samsung M9T 2TB hard driveblank

    blankblank

Why do we have to download all the games on the new consoles? It takes up so much space. All of us console gamers have had this problem with the Xbox One and PS4. I had bought the 1Tb Xbox One and within a few months was having to delete games and apps to make space for new releases. With the Samsung M9T 2TB hard drive you will have as much space as you need. The hard drive is small and easily portable. You can take it anywhere! It will cost around $100 but I doubt you will run out of space again. The best thing about it is that you can use it for your PC, console, and even mobile.

    Razer Naga Hex V2blank

    blankblank

The Razer Naga Hex V2 has a ton of customizability and smart button placement. This is the mouse you need if you play MOBAs. The mouse is quite large, but much more comfortable than a regular one. It has seven buttons on the left side that you can quickly and easily access with your thumb. It is relatively easy to set nine different keymaps so you can have dozens of keys right in the palm of your hand. For games not requiring a ton of buttons this is awesome. You will have to get used to the mouse though, as you might not even need your left hand to tap away at the keyboard anymore. It will run you around $80, but I find that it’s a great investment.

    Thrustmaster VG T150 Racing Wheelblank

    blankblank

If you love racing games this is a must have. Many prefer the simulation style racing more than the arcade style so this racing wheel will definitely improve your experience. You can even purchase additional add-ons such as a stick shift and can swap out the two-pedal set for three pedals. It has 1080 degrees of movement, full force feedback, and customizable pedal inclination. It can be hooked to your PS4 as well, sorry Xbox users. The Thrustmaster VG T150 Racing Wheel has a great combination of performance and value. It will run you around $200.

    Logitech G930 Gaming Headsetblank

    blankblank

The Logitech G930 Gaming Headset is one of the best wireless headsets around. It has high quality audio output, can be used while charging, and has some nifty controls right on the headset. It will even maintain a good connection up to 40ft. It blows most of its competition out of the water and is still less expensive. If you are looking for a great gaming headset, this is a must have.

    Optoma PT105 Gaming LED Projectorblankblank

    blankblank

If you’re like me and always want a bigger screen, look no further than the Optoma PT105 Gaming LED Projector. It was designed for casual gaming use and is small and portable. It is a quick and easy setup so you can take it anywhere. Unfortunately, it does lack a zoom feature so you have to move it closer or farther away from what you decide to use as a screen, but it remains much cheaper than other options on the market. So, if you are a serious gamer it might be worth looking for something more expensive, but if you want something small, easy to use, and can handle some casual gaming this projector is the right choice.
