    Top 5 Relaxing Survival Games

If you are looking for relaxing survival games to delve into, make sure you take a read through this list. We’ve picked out 5 games that are best known for being as chilled out as possible.

Whilst survival games can offer a great sense of progression and give players the tools to create their own game, many survival games can become stressful due to the constant threat from other players.

The games listed in this article are for those that would rather experience something to play during their relaxation time.

    Table of Contents
    1. My Time At Portia
    2. Minecraft
    3. ARK Survival Evolved (On Singleplayer)
    4. Subnautica
    5. Fortnite: Save The World
    6. Summary

    My Time At Portia

My Time At Portia is the newest game to hit this list. Whilst it misses out on some features that you’d expect to see in a traditional survival game, it has lots of survival and crafting elements.

My Time At Portia is a charming game that puts you in control of building your own workshop and farm. You can meet and interact with NPCs, progress your character, and gather more materials to build more items.

My Time At Portia is one of the best singleplayer games to try out if you’re looking to get lost in a relaxing and immersive game world.

    Minecraft

Minecraft is the most popular survival game and there’s good reason for it. Minecraft is one of the most accessible survival games you’ll be able to get your hands on. Thankfully, Minecraft has a number of options to make things a little less stressful.

Firstly, you can choose to play only with your friends, which means there’s no threat from other players.

You can also turn on peaceful mode so that there aren’t any dangerous mobs to come into contact with. Alternatively, you could play on creative mode and have fun building things without any need to gather resources.

    ARK Survival Evolved (On Singleplayer)

ARK Survival Evolved is one of the most action-packed PVP survival games on the Steam store, but if you play ARK Survival Evolved on singleplayer, the experience is very different.

Survival Evolved isn’t so relaxing that it’ll send you to sleep. In ARK, you must fight against a range different dinosaurs and creatures.

At times, the fights you get into may put you in some difficult situations, but you can be confident that no matter what happens, any progress you make towards leveling your character, building your base, and taming beasts and dinosaurs, doesn’t get stolen from you by another player.

    Subnautica

Subnautica is an open world singleplayer survival game that only recently came out of early access. In Subnautica, you are given the opportunity to explore an underwater alien world.

You must craft equipment and control submarines as you explore the depths of the ocean. You’ll find stunning coral reefs, dangerous volcanoes, underwater cave systems, and a variety of creatures and fish that you may have to fight against.

Subnautica takes such a step away from the norm and because of that it’s a pleasure to play.

    Fortnite: Save The World

Everybody knows about Fortnite: Battle Royale, but not many people have ever played Save The World. This version of Fortnite was released first and it’s a fresh new take on the survival genre.

In Fortnite: Save The World, you must gather resources and weapons, then build a base and defend against waves of oncoming zombies. As the game progresses, the difficulty of the zombies increases, and you must try harder to build stronger defenses.

The difficulty curve moves along very slowly, however, so you’re never pressured or put into overly stressful situations.
